Low Latency Mode (driver setting)

What it does

Driver-level cap on how many frames the CPU queues ahead of the GPU.

The honest verdict

Graded real. Real but conditional: 'On' is a good default, 'Ultra' only helps when you are GPU-bound (the GPU pegged near 100%) — and turn it OFF in games with Reflex / Anti-Lag 2 integration, which supersede it.

Where it genuinely fits a rig, Compy can recommend it — applied with a snapshot first and a one-click rollback after, like every change it makes.

The full graded entry

This entry ships inside the app, cross-linked to every related verdict in the graded book. The Blackbook publishes its verdicts here — the full write-ups stay in the book, on your rig, next to your own measurements.

The Compy Blackbook holds 191 graded entries like this one, judged against your hardware — and every change it does make is reversible, with the receipt to prove it.
