The honest verdict
A motherboard does not render frames — it connects the parts that do. Two boards with the same CPU, RAM, and GPU produce the same FPS. What a better board actually buys is around the edges: stronger power delivery for a heavy overclock, more/faster M.2 and USB, better Wi-Fi or networking, and support for higher memory speeds — and THAT last one is the only part that touches frames, by letting your RAM run its rated profile. So buy the board for the features and the memory support you need, not for frames. The cheap board with the same RAM speed games exactly as fast.
